DulwichGameJam DGJ2024

About the competition

The Dulwich Game Jam, is a 48-hour event which aims to spark innovation and collaboration among budding game developers.

This year, students were challenged to build a game around the secret theme “Life on Land” — focusing on protecting animals, biodiversity, and habitats.

From the theme reveal to the submission deadline, they had just 48 hours to craft games that would make a difference.

Over 150 students from 6 EiM schools joined forces, showcasing a remarkable display of teamwork and creativity. Guided by experts from Ubisoft China through expert sessions in the weeks before, they worked tirelessly to bring their visions to life.

In the end, 40 captivating games were submitted, each reflecting the dedication and ingenuity of its creators. The competition not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talents but also imparted valuable lessons in collaboration and problem-solving. It was a celebration of creativity with a purpose, highlighting the importance of protecting our planet’s ecosystems.

We extend our gratitude to Ubisoft China for their support and mentorship, which contributed immensely to the success of the event. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding achievements, and may your passion for game development continue to inspire positive change!

We hope to see you all back for the 2025 edition!
